Biography:
2008: First-Team All-CSFL. Led team with 75 tackles including 13.5 tackles for a loss of 56 yards, four sacks for a loss of 30 yards, five pass break-ups and one forced fumble. Also had two interceptions both returned for touchdowns.
2007: Selected to the CSFL Second-Team as a linebacker. Finished second on the team in tackles with 49 including 6.5 tackles for a loss of 11.5 yards. Also had four pass break-ups.
2006: Led the team in tackles with 48 as a freshman. Had two of those tackles register for a loss of three yards. Also had three pass break-ups, one blocked punt, and one interception that was returned for five yards.
Personal: Born 8/25/86. The son of Gwendolyn and the late Michael Smith and Don Jenkins. Graduated from Clear Brook High School in 2005 where he was named All-District on both offense and defense in 2003 and 2004. Was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Inc. and the National Honor Society. Member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and the LU AAHPERD. List his hobbies as playing sports, cooking, watching movies, and listening to music. Majoring in health, physical education, and recreation. Future plans include becoming a personal trainer.
