Akeem Lavoll ran a 48.53 in the 400 meter dash, Mario McCottrell won his heat in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:53.34, and Willie Felder and Julius Koger ran a 21.79 and a 21.85 in the 200 meter dash respectively. 

In day two of nationals, Willie Felder will compete in the men’s long jump, William Moses and Julius Koger will compete in the men’s high jump, Akeem Lavoll will compete in the men’s 400 semis, Mario McCottrell will run in the men’s 800 semis, and Langston will battle in the men’s 4x400 meter relay.
